Horticulture CRSP is proud to celebrate the inauguration of the Horticulture CRSP Regional Center of Innovation at Zamorano, as a means of enhancing fruit, vegetable and flower production for smallholder farmers in Central America.

The new Horticulture CRSP Regional Center of Innovation at Zamorano brings together researchers, extension workers and members of the private sector to improve livelihoods of smallholder farmers and small businesses in the region. The center is a partnership between Zamorano, Horticulture CRSP and USAID and joins a network of three centers worldwide, each dedicated to serving as a hub for horticulture-related activities for nearby developing countries.

A Spanish-language event announcement and press release are available on the Zamorano website.
