How universities can integrate and work as a team

Description

In this 90-second video, Jessie Vipham of Kansas State University shares about her work across institutions and how her project is using graduate students to create a cohesive team.

“Our project team has a real desire to not only investigate the integration of two different agriculture systems within Cambodia, but also to focus on: ‘how do institutions from two different countries integrate together to work as a functional team?’” – Jessie Vipham

The project team hopes that by engaging graduate students from different disciplines, they will be able to learn from project researchers and create connections.

Kansas State University, the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), the University of Battambang (UBB), and Agricultural Development Denmark Asia (ADDA) will collaborate to investigate and develop a framework for the integration of livestock (cattle and pigs) into vegetable crop production that uses conservation agriculture practices in Cambodia.

This video debuted at the 2018 Horticulture Innovation Lab annual meeting in Kigali, Rwanda.
