Description

This illustrated poster includes images of best practices and also "bad practices" for growing Bird's eye chili peppers in Ghana, with tips for each stage of the value chain including:

  • Nursery site selection
  • Nursery bed preparation
  • Raising seedlings and nursery management
  • Land preparation
  • Transplanting
  • Fertilizer application
  • Pest and disease control
  • Harvest
  • Postharvest practices

The poster also includes a basic growing calendar for Bird's eye chili peppers in Ghana. 

The poster is by Dan Acquayre of ASNAPP-Ghana, along with co-authors Juliana Asante-Dartey, Charles Quansah, Larry Amekuse, Akua Benewaah and Joseph Agyiri.
