Description

Khun Kimkhuy with the Royal Agricultural University presents on the development of integrated pest management strategies for field insect pests of cruciferous vegetables at the 2016 Symposium on Horticultural Science in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The use of pesticides in Cambodia has led to ecological damage and contamination. A study was conducted and showed the benefits of integrating lemongrass, green onions, sweet basil, yellow sticky traps, and plastic barriers with cruciferous vegetables to reduce major pests such as P. xylostella, P. striolata and H. undalis.
