Kent Bradford is a distinguished professor in the UC Davis Department of Plant Sciences and also serves as the director of the UC Davis Seed Biotechnology Center and the associate director of the UC Davis World Food Center. His research focuses on a wide array of seed science topics to further understanding of seed dormancy and germination, including genetic and molecular mechanisms, mathematical models, and practical preservation methods in humid climates.
