Rashmi Ekka is an international development consultant with 10 years of experience in agriculture and inclusive finance. She serves as the project manager for the Horticulture Innovation Lab's projects focused on Reducing Postharvest Losses in Rwanda and Improving Postharvest Practices for Tomatoes in Burkina Faso.

Her expertise is focused on agricultural value chain development and finance, postharvest management, business development and microfinance. Her activities have focused on reducing losses in fruits and vegetables, improving market systems for nutritious agriculture, and low-cost solutions for farmers and other value chain actors. She is passionate about scaling up impact-oriented solutions using an inclusive, multi-stakeholder approach.

Ekka received an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of California, Davis, and a B.A. in Economics from the College of Wooster in Ohio.
