As an undergraduate assistant working for the Horticulture Innovation Lab, Michelle Boutell managed the Horticulture Innovation Lab Demonstration Center at UC Davis and worked as an undergraduate researcher. She was responsible for maintaining the demonstration center, in addition to doing educational outreach and running tests on technologies. 

She is a UC Davis student pursuing a bachelor's degree in International Agricultural Development and Middle Eastern/South Asian Studies. Michelle also previously worked for the Horticulture Innovation Lab as an intern.
