Principal investigators

Professor Fassé Samaké is a Professor in Microbiology and Microbial Ecology, and the Head of the Cooperation Department of the University of Sciences, Techniques and Technologies of Bamako, Mali. 

Luis Andrés Arévalo Rodríguez is a researcher and coordinator of the Applied Entomology Laboratory of the Center for Agricultural and Food Studies at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.

Dr. Victoria Adeyemi Tanimonure is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife with 13 years of experience in research activities. She obtained her PhD in 2016 from the same University. She is an Agricultural Economist and specializes in Agribusiness Development and Management with focus on adding value to indigenous agricultural produce and integrating farmers to high value market towards improving their household livelihood.

Simon Gicheha has over ten years of experience implementing strategic research-for-development agenda specifically developing and refining robust analytical tools for implementing, monitoring, learning, and evaluation, including period tracking of relevant indicators in Eastern Africa.

Dr. Forah Mokua Obebo is as Economist with over fifteen years of experience in food systems analysis, agricultural and nutritional policy research, socio-economic analysis, and monitoring and evaluation. He holds a PhD in Economics from Kenyatta University and a Master of Science Degree in Economics from the prestigious Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, where he passed with Distinction.

Kwadwo Danso-Mensah is a Development Economist and a Monitory, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) expert providing research and MEL services to local organizations, international development institutions and global charities. He is currently the Director of Research at the International Center for Evaluation (ICED). He is also a research associate at the African Centre of Excellence for Inequalities Research (ACEIR) at the Institute of Social, Statistical and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana.

Dr. Cornelius T. Atere is a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Soil Science and Land Resources Management, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile–Ife, Nigeria.

Dr. Md Anwarul Abedin has been working as Professor in the Department of soil science, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh.

Mumina Guyo Shibia has a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University in the United States (graduated Dec. 2019), an MS and a BS in Agricultural and Applied Economics, and a Diploma in Agricultural Education and Extension from Egerton University in Kenya.
