It provides an overview of regional center activity from 2013-2014: Kasetsart University in Southeast Asia; Kenya Agriculture Research Institute in East Africa; and Zamorano in Central America.
Regional Centers play a role in scaling up technologies, research and solutions, and steering committees increase impact. The presentation poses questions around how collaborations and connections with Regional Centers can strengthen research and training activities, and shares various examples.
The presentation also highlights the Horticulture Innovation Lab Tool Box and its various technologies, practices, and areas of expertise. It reviews recent achievements of the Regional Centers, including trainings, partnerships, and increased exposure of technologies, and ends by sharing next steps for the Regional Centers.
