Description
This is an annual report on project activities for September 2013 to September 2014 for the project "Creating a market niche for 'food-safe' vegetables in Cambodia and Vietnam," led by Cary Trexler of UC Davis.
The report details why savings groups provide a good platform for learning, how the savings groups for this project were formed, and survey results for where farmers get their information from. It also provides a timeline of activities, when farmers take out the most loans from the savings groups, trainings and field days related to nethouses and produce marketing. The report concludes with how to build a business strategy to make nethouses more viable.
