Dr. Kwaku Antwi is the Policy Officer at the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) in Accra, Ghana. Under this role, he leads the Policy, Research, and Investment (RPIn) Cluster at FARA.

Dr. Antwi is a member of the Policy Technical working group of the CAADPXP4 Consortium. He also leads the AIRTEA Project which is being implemented by a consortium made up of FARA, ASARECA, and EAFF, a project which is being implemented in Rwanda, Uganda, and Rwanda. He further coordinated the StEPPFoS Project which brings together 16 academic, research, farmers’ groups, private sector, and policy analysis institutions in Europe and Africa. Dr. Antwi holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University, Texas, USA.

Prior to joining FARA, Dr. Antwi worked for Ghana’s Ministry of Food and Agriculture as the Head of Agricultural Economics, Monitoring and Evaluation. Under this role, he played a significant role towards the development if the Food and Agricultural Development Policy (FASDEP), which is the agricultural policy for the government of Ghana.
