Description

Michael Reid and James Thompson, Horticulture Innovation Lab (formerly Horticulture CRSP) present their projects on innovations in the cold and dry chains.  Projects include:

  • New "stack" dryer vs. traditional cabinet dryer
  • Photovoltaic pumping
  • Peltier-effect cooling for transportation
  • Small-scale cool transport
  • Facilitated solarization for weed control
  • DC air conditioner for a solar powered cool room using the CoolBot
