This 90-second video outlines a Horticulture Innovation Lab project based in Central American that works with smallholder farmers and women's indigenous groups to share and improve tomato grafting technology. The research team aims to provide a tool that will help farmers produce food. By using grafted tomato plants, farmers can avoid soil pathogens and increase their yields.

Speaking in this video is Andrey Vega of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The project also collaborates with Matt Kleinhenz with North Carolina State Univeristy, Willie Chen with the World Vegetable Center, and Carlos Ramierez with Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
