Jeff Griffiths of Tufts University shared data collected recently from households in Uganda, in a presentation "Fruit & Vegetable Production in Uganda: Greater F&V consumption, improved food security, less anemia." This presentation was given at the Horticulture: Key Opportunities for Nutrition event on July 9, 2014 in Washington, DC.

The presentation explored the question "Can Smallholder Fruit and Vegetable Production Systems Improve Household Food Security and Nutritional Status of Women?" and presents a correlation between household food insecurity and child stunting.
